Berenstain Bears

The Berenstain Bears Visit the Credit Union is a financial literacy program that was designed to teach elementary students about money, through the concepts of save, share, spend, and earn. We visit students from1st graders all the way up to 4th and 5th graders. The goal of the program is to engage students about learning about money at a young age. We read them the book the Berenstain Bear's Visit the Credit Union and throughout the book we discuss terms like credit union, ATM, and safety deposit boxes. After we finish reading the book we do an activity with each of the students that deals with setting financial goals for themselves and how to achieve those goals. Come by and open up your child a savings account today and receive a free piggy bank! Our children are our future so let's help them start saving today.
